Kristi is a former editor and teacher who now takes great pride in being a stay-at-home mother. She is the queen of her domain, and relishes keeping the homefront running smoothly and raising a happy and healthy five-year-old , while engaging in freelance writing in her spare time.

Kristi worked as an editor for Bell & Howell in Louisville, KY, creating abstracts for a research database. She then went on to work for a local Internet company, writing and editing "tips" newsletters and assisting with business development. Being a "people person," and wanting to pursue a career that truly helped others, she decided that her true calling in life was to be a teacher--though she never lost her love for writing--and earned a Master's degree to teach fifth grade. She became a mother shortly after her teaching career began and resigned to be a full-time mother, keeping up her love for teaching by working with her son at home and volunteering as a religious education teacher.

Now home is her domain, and her areas of expertise range from teaching her son to read at the age of two, getting stubborn grass stain out of jeans, growing tomatoes in her home garden, and writing. Kristi enjoys sharing her experiences with others through her writing.
